Research and advisory behemoth, Gartner, has once more had its head in the clouds with a recent report: Market Trends: Multicloud Usage Will Drive Cloud Management Platform Growth. Its analysis indicates that demand for cloud management platforms (CMPs) that effectively manage across clouds will grow gradually at a 6.6% compound annual growth rate over the next four years, as adoption of public and multi-cloud usage increases.
